It’s Been Far Too Long…

It’s been far too long since I have consistently contributed to Living the Cure, a blog I started a few years ago as an informational outreach to individuals of any age facing cancer at any point on the trajectory though as a matter of full disclosure my area of professional expertise is pediatric oncology as a pediatric nurse, then nurse practitioner.

For anyone reading who does not know me which I am pretty sure is most of you AND a whole lot of you, I am also a childhood cancer survivor and a heart transplant patient as a direct result from my cancer treatment. As soon as my brain kicks into gear, and I can remember how to insert links, I will link to the backstory.

I wrote a few posts at the beginning of the pandemic, but quickly realized that almost everything about the pandemic was taking a toll on me just as it was everyone else. This has been one incredibly bizarre and ever evolving bizarre event in world history, our individual lived experiences, and our collective experience: amen?!

Bottom Line: I was struggling, and I couldn’t bring myself to write.

It is my intention to continue to provide content that educates and equips all of us on all fronts; however, for those of you who have followed my blog in the past, I believe you will note a difference on the blog. I don’t want to bias you, so I ask that you simply provide feedback via comments or private messaging.

It’s good to be back with you, and I thank you for your grace towards me. I’ve missed each of you!

In the arena,

Stephanie
